Moving to Scotland
Big changes have been happening for our family. We have decided to leave the beautiful weather in San Diego and move to Glasgow, Scotland. We will use this blog to share our adventure with friends and family. It will chronicle our experiences living in a foreign country, adapting to a different culture, and details of our travel around the UK and other areas of Europe.

What an adventure!!! Part of me is totally envious (maybe because I don't realize how hard an international move with 3 kids would be) I bet, in the end, this will be an amazing experience.
So what prompted the move anyway?
Ashley, the move hasn't been too bad. I think it helps that we aren't dealing with a foreign language. The accents can be tricky to understand but for the most part it isn't too bad. The opportunity came up within Jonathan's company and it was entirely up to us. We decided that if we ever wanted to move abroad, we had to do it when our children were still young. The timing was great so we jumped on it. I really miss our family but I think the experience will be worth it.
